Kim Stoegbauer is the creative director + founder of The TomKat Studio, a blog and shop dedicated to celebrating all of life’s moments and doing so in style!
The party started back in 2008 after Kim left her career in real estate. She started The TomKat Studio blog (named after her two children – Tommy and Kate), on a whim backed by her keen eye for details and amazing sense of style! A few months later, Kim shared Kate’s 2nd birthday party on the blog and demand for sharing her creativity soared. That same year, she opened up an Etsy shop and became one of the first Etsy retailers to provide printable party supplies! As excitement for all things TomKat continued to grow, she went digital with her designs, allowing more people to join the party. Adding this element helped Kim balance her tie and her customers loved the at-home adaptability concept.
Kim’s styling and design eventually caught the attention of major brands like HGTV and Pottery Barn Kids, elevating The TomKat Studio to a new level! Since then, Kim’s styling work has been featured by Martha Stewart, HGTV, DIY Network, Pottery Barn Kids, Coca-Cola, Barbie, Shutterfly, Vera Bradley and many more. Her work has also been featured in publications such as Parenting Magazine, Celebrate Magazine, Where Women Create and InStyle Magazine.
When she’s not planning a party, Kim is still your quintessential girls’ girl! Bring on the pink and anything that sparkles! She loves all sweets, Tom Brady and the Patriots, and is still a huge fan of New Kids on the Block. Kim lives in Chandler, Arizona with her wonderful husband Danny, their two sweet children Tommy and Kate, and their 3 chihuahuas, Bentlie, Oreo and Coco.
Over the years, The TomKat Studio has grown into your one stop shop for pretty party products and endless inspiration. Around here, every day is a celebration and we’re so glad you joined the party! Connect with us on Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter.
