Founder & Lead Stylist
Known for her scrumptious Sweet Stations and custom candy creations, Marie Dannettelle has been an innovator in the event industry for over 7 years. As the founder and lead stylist of Sweets Indeed
, Marie’s attention to detail and personal flare quickly set her apart.
From a very young age, Marie could be found rearranging her bedroom furniture, decorating the house for holidays and designing bulletin boards in her moms classroom. In the summers, she’d sell painted shells on Balboa Island so that she could feed her frozen banana cravings. Marie excelled into management positions in the customer service industry where her entrepreneurial spirit quickly emerged. After her daughter was born and her friends and family members started getting married and having babies, she honed in her creative skills and lifelong love of all things sweet. Stylized Sweet Stations quickly became more than a hobby for her and she officially launched Sweets Indeed in 2009.
is a boutique catering company that specializes in custom candy and dessert stations by bringing together the best of the best in the confectionary world. Marie has helped make sweet memories for celebrities, corporate clients and families, and is frequently involved in charity work with Operation Shower. Creating candy crafts, styling product shoots and teaching business and styling tips and tricks is also a passion of hers and she has recently evolved her business into a sweet, successful design studio.
Marie and Sweets Indeed
(which is also home to the original, gourmet Candy Kabob in the US and the recently launched Candyfetti™
) are currently working on expanding their online shop to include globally sourced gourmet treats and Sweet Station supplies, and are designing an entire zombie inspired candy line. You heard that right, Zombie candy!
Marie lives in Southern California with her creative professional husband, Shannon, their two crazy kids Avalon (10) and Lincoln (2) and their rescue pups Colt and Indiana. She loves all things Alice in Wonderland and was a zombie fanatic long before The Walking Dead. When she’s not surrounded by candy, she can be found having a dance/sing off to Taylor Swift with her kids.
